I became Chief Executive, Mondex in December 1993, holding that position until the incorporaton of Mondex International Ltd in July 1996.
In September 1996, I was appointed Managing director, Retail Banking at NatWest, leading a business with more than 5 million personal customers, 1 million small business customers and with over 30,000 staff
In October 1999, I was appointed Chief Executive, Retail Banking at NatWest, with responsibility for the Mortgage, Life and General Insurance businesses under the NatWest brand, in addition to the Retail Bank.
I was very lucky to work with very many talented people in the retail banking and payments industry over the 20+ years I spent in that world.
